We have experience of working across different land use planning sectors, working with clients to achieve their aims. Depending on client requirements and project scale, we can act either as project lead consultant, bringing together a range of different disciplines to provide a comprehensive multi-disciplinary consultancy offer, or we can act as lead planning consultant on projects providing critical town planning support. We can provide advice on projects subject to Environmental Impact Assessment, Hazardous Substances consents, Listed Building Consents and Marine Licensing. We work for volume housebuilders, local authorities, Government agencies, key infrastructure delivery partners and small developers. Sectors we have worked in include:
Residential - promoting sites through the local development plan process to secure future development opportunity land allocations; acting as key witness at appeals, hearings and inquiries; developing planning delivery strategies and co-ordinating the submission of planning applications for volume housebuilders, small scale residential development and individual dwellings;
Health - advising health boards on estate rationalisation; enhancing land value through planning process; securing planning permission for health-related developments; private health care developments: working with primary care developers to deliver new GP practices and pharmacies across Scotland and North England;
Mixed Use - retail led mixed use regeneration; new distilleries; bonded warehouse development; commercial and office developments; landfill and waste applications;
Secure Institutions - securing planning permission for a number of secure institutions across Scotland; site searches; estates and other property related advice;
Marine-Related Works - Marine Works License applications for development; planning permission for new marinas, redevelopment of shipyard facilities; Harbour Masterplanning;
Sensitive Infrastructure Projects - planning permission for defence shipyard redevelopment; secure institution development; estate rationalisation;
Regeneration - urban regeneration development; infrastructure development; mixed use regeneration; public realm projects;
Infrastructure - planning delivery strategy for new infrastructure, new Thameslink Station development, north London waste handling facility, strategic rail-freight development; Inverness West Link road development;
Leisure - holiday lodge development on Loch Lomond; Ardrossan Marina development; tourist visitor centre.
